Putting Teesta Setalvad in her 'rightful' place

Let me begin my outburst on the propaganda war waged on Hindus and their representatives. What better than the tight slap that has been unleashed on the face of the self styled activist by the Special Investigation Team formed by the SC to investigate into the post-Godhra riots of 2002.
The link to this news is: http://www.breakingnewsonline.net/2009/04/sit-censures-teesta-setalvad-and-ngos.html. After the flip flops around Zaheera Sheikh that caused huge public embarrassment to this mercenary in the garb of NGO, this has come has the biggest vindication to Narendra Modi. This report pulls up Teesta and her ilk for rumour mongering by fabricating stories of killing and violence including the killing of a pregnant woman and her foetus being removed and so on, which never took place
I'am appalled by two things. One, the very rubbish that this woman has circulated; beyond that what has shocked me immensely is the attitude of our media! I hit a google search with keywords around "Teesta Setalvad" and "Supreme court". The search results are abysmally few. The icing on the cake is the attitude our wonderful NDTVs, CNNs and Times among others. They await a chance to rip Narendra Modi apart if he even lets loose of a funny noise due to turbulence in his stomach, but, found this bit unworthy of a news story to be published to the masses!!! What do these news channels air! Only anti-Hindu stuff ??
Hindus are racing towards becoming refugees in a country where they gave refuge to the Parsis and Jews! Welcome to Kaliyug, where blatant lies and fabricated stories of vulgar proportions are patronised by the "educated" and the "secular class".
I shall dedicate an exclusive post to Teesta Setalvad and what makes her a "Secularist"!

  1. Deepak,
This is a very important post and timely as well. What I see around is that a lot of people are losing their sense of direction in the name of a so called liberal view-point and pseudo-intellectualism.

A couple of points I would like to add on to; If Teesta has been doing this as part of an NGO, then she is giving them a bad name as well and not everyone is going to be trusting of them even when they are genuine. And as you have mentioned, news channels need to pick up this story and give it the deserved coverage. Unless of course they are worried that by doing so they will be doing a volte-face on the ant-Modi position that all of them have so eagerly taken.

Cheers and keep posting the good(right) stuff.
